YEREVAN. – Armenian opposition Republican Party will hold a congress in December, the party member Artak Zeynalyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

According to him, however, the date is not yet fixed. At the congress the report of the party will be presented. In addition, members of the political council will be elected and domestic and foreign issues will be discussed. Among other issues ideology and position of the party will be presented as well. In response whether the party will nominate head of the party Aram Sargsyan as a presidential candidate during the congress, Zeynalyan said that they have already released a statement on this regard and they have nothing else to add. 

To note, presidential elections are scheduled in Armenia for next February.
