YEREVAN. – Armenia’s First Deputy Police Chief, Police Major General Hunan Poghosyan, and Police General Department on Combating Organized Crime division chief, Police Lieutenant Colonel Artur Minasyan, headed to the Kyrgyz capital city Bishkek on Wednesday—and on a two-day official visit—to attend session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization’s (CSTO) governing bodies in the fight against illegal drug trafficking.         

During the event, the discussants examined the CSTO’s 2012 activities carried out in this regard, the prospects for next year’s activities, and the holding of respective activities together with the corresponding authorities of Afghanistan, the Police press service informs.
