YEREVAN. – Despite the fact that only in a few days the U.S. presidential elections are going to take place, none of the candidates responded to the offer of the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) regarding their attitude towards the issue of Artsakh [Nagorno-Karabakh] peace process, the issues of the Armenians in Javakhk, Georgia, and the Armenian Genocide, head of the Hay Dat office and ARF Dashnaktsutyun member Giro Manoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He also stated that prior the elections neither the incumbent U.S. President Democrat Barack Obama nor Republican candidate Mitt Romney respond to the offer of the ANCA and neither one will receive support by the Armenian community prior to the elections.

Earlier the agency informed that the ANCA has released a statement according to which none of the presidential candidates will receive officially the support by the U.S. Armenian community for the presidential elections, scheduled for Nov. 6.
