YEREVAN.- The pace for Armenia-EU relations’ development has a positive dynamic, head of National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan said during the EU-Armenian Consultative Group meeting on Friday.

Baghdasaryan recalled the sides have recently reached progress on some serious issues. In particular agreement on relaxation of visa requirements and readmission was initialed.

“We are hopeful it will come into effect in the first half 2013,” he said.

The second stage of talks on free trade area was held, Baghdasaryan said, expressing confidence that additional progress will be reached in December.

Head of the National Security Council confirmed Armenia’s commitment to continue reforms. Additional working groups have been created to prepare customs and tax reforms.
