YEREVAN. – Yerevan State Linguistic University launched on Tuesday “Armenia and China: 20 years of cooperation in the spheres of politics, economy, language and culture” two-day conference, which is mainly focused on setting the modern role and situation of the Sinology in Armenia, as well as reinforcing cooperation between China and Armenia and other experts on the Chinese language in the world.

Scholars from China, Armenia, Russia, Germany, and Bulgaria participated in the conference. According to the Chinese Ambassador to Armenia Tian Changchun, students’ exchange programs are a serious stimulus for the Armenia-China cooperation.
