Supporters of Barack Obama celebrated his victory unleashing joy and dancing in the streets. Thousands of supporters were waiting for results in Times Square which was turned into a giant open studio.  

When it became clear that Obama is winning, hundreds of people started chanting president’s name. They started dancing accompanied by African drums, RIA Novosti reported.

Tourists from different countries gathered to welcome Obama’s reelection. According to CNN, Obama won 303 electoral votes, surpassing the decisive 270-vote. Romney got only 203 votes.
