YEREVAN.- Trade turnover of consumer goods in Armenia’s capital makes is about $100 million (AMD 40 billion) a month with $90 per capita , says the report on retail issued by Ameria CJSC experts.

Out of 90$, about $66 is spent on food and non-alcoholic beverages, about $11 on alcohol and about $13 on household goods.

Consumption of households with a monthly budget of $600-$1,200 is exceeding consumption of the families with a budget of $300-$600.

The families with an income of more than $1,000 per month and up, spend 49% more than families earning less than $1,000.
