YEREVAN.- Eight passengers out of 23 injured in a bus accident that occurred in Armenia’s Shirak Region have been discharged from hospital.

Other injured are in stable condition and will be discharged from hospital in the near future, representative of health department at Shirak governor’s office Hovhannes Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As reported earlier, a bus, which was en route to Istanbul from Yerevan, went off road and tipped over on the Gyumri city-Bavra city highway, nearby Ghazanchi village, on Saturday at around 2:10pm. As a result, one person died and 23 people—including a ten-year-old child—were transferred to the region’s several medical facilities.
