YEREVAN. – At the invitation of Armenia’s National Assembly (NA) Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, a delegation, which is led by speaker Jorge Orrico of the House of Representatives of Uruguay, will arrive in Armenia on Monday evening for an official visit.   

During his stay, head of the Uruguayan parliament will meet with Abrahamyan, PM Tigran Sargsyan, FM Edward Nalbandian, representatives of NA factions, and members of the NA Armenia-Uruguay Parliamentary Friendship Group. Also, Orrico is scheduled to address the National Assembly, NA press service informs.   

Separately, the Uruguay House of Representatives leader will head to Yerevan State University (YSU), where he will meet with the YSU students and faculty. 

Also, the aforesaid delegation will visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial and lay a wreath in memory of the Genocide victims.
