YEREVAN. – While heading in the direction of Armenia’s Ijevan city, a BMW X5-model jeep went off road at Yerevan-Ijevan Highway, crashed into an IZH 2715-model car that was parked outside that zone, and, subsequently, slammed into the reinforced concrete construction of an unused bridge, on Monday at around 7pm.         

As a result of the multiple collisions, the jeep’s passenger Khachatur Grigoryan—who was born in 1985—lost his life on the spot, and two more men sustained injuries and were transferred to hospital, the Police press service informs. 

An investigation is launched into the incident.
