YEREVAN.- Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said former presidents are unlikely to join the 2013 presidential race.

Talking to reporter in the parliament, Sargsyan said the Armenian National Congress bloc and Prosperous Armenia will hardly nominate a single candidate.

“Looking back at the partys’ path I can say there is a small likelihood. We had a long way together and know each other. There is a small likelihood of drastic changes in politics. Of course, other scenarios are not ruled out,” he emphasized.

President Serzh Sargsyan will be elected by majority votes, Premier is confident.

“Political analysts also share the opinion that Sargsyan will secure a landslide victory,” he added.
