YEREVAN. – Several cheese-producing companies have petitioned the Government of Armenia, and complained about the cheese-producing factories that violate the production conditions and attempt to circumvent corresponding legal responsibility.      

“There should not be hazardous food on our tables. We will not permit cheese that is unsafe for health to enter our homes. No pressure will affect us,” PM Tigran Sargsyan stated during Thursday’s Cabinet session.    

Also, he noted that some producers are simply trying to distort the situation, and therefore he instructed the representative of the respective state agency to provide clarifications to the media.
