YEREVAN.- Armenian government’s goal is to protect the country from external risks. This urged to submit a balanced and realistic budget for 2013, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said summing up the debates on 2013 draft state budget.

“There is justified discontent with the draft bill and we are always ready to discuss about 60 offers submitted by political forces in order to improve the bill,” Sargsyan said, adding that some offers will be accepted.

The 2013 draft state budget gives an opportunity to carry out radical reforms, it is the main mission, he added. 

“I am sure that those criticizing the bill are making offers because they want to live in prosperous country. We are thankful for the criticism,” he noted.

He said the government realizes that the opposition must voice serious criticizm against the government, while “we must refrain from sharp answers. We must find the verges of tolerance and will attentively consider all proposals.”
