On November 15 the Minister of Transportation and Communication of Armenia Gagik Beglaryan received the delegation of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) lead by the senior specialist of government Yesim Elhan-Kayalar.  During the meeting a number of issues on bilateral cooperation, aimed at the maintenance and preservation of the infrastructures were discussed.

The press service of the government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Yesim Elhan-Kayalar noted that ADB is developing areas of technical assistance to the 3rd tranche of the North-South program. According to his words, taking into account the opinion voiced by the Minister Beglaryan, that the best results can be guaranteed only with the help of cooperation of international and Armenian experts, the program includes 8 international experts, as well as Armenian ones. Minister Beglaryan welcomed the inclusion of Armenian experts in the program.

“The experts must be able to make correct calculations. The essence of their work lies in this,” the minister noted.

During the meeting the parties voiced their assurance that the cooperation will continue in the framework of the program.
