YEREVAN. – The practice of holding political board meetings for several days is becoming a pattern for the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), Hraparak daily reports.

“And the same matter is on the agenda of the sessions: What are the [PAP] ranks and MPs thinking about the upcoming presidential elections and the [likelihood] of [PAP leader Gagik] Tsarukyan running [for President].

The representatives of all [PAP] regional organizations insisted that they must run [in the elections] solely with their own candidate, and that candidate must be Gagik Tsarukyan.

Tsarukyan [himself] said he has already made his decision, but said nothing about that decision. Also, Tsarukyan said he will announce his decision several days after his birthday. To note, his birthday is on [Sunday,] November 25, and he will turn 56 years old. Subsequently, he informed that since he usually spends his birthday outside of the republic, he will go, come back, [and] announce his decision,” Hraparak writes.
