Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan commented on Russia’s response to NATO’s deployment of Patriot missiles near Turkey-Syria border calling it “very wrong”.

Earlier Russia’s Foreign Ministry warned Turkey against deployment of Patriot missiles, saying militarization of the border is an alarming single.

“I find Russia’s statements very wrong. Its approach of trying to show Turkey’s internal affairs - which it is not involved with - as a matter of its own [interest] is wrong. The issue is the placement of missiles for defense purpose,” Hurriyet Daily News quotes Erdogan.
