YEREVAN. – Commencing the week at an exchange rate of AMD 407/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, the US national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), stopped at AMD 406/$1 on Friday; and this is a 0.12-percent—or an AMD 0.5—drop from the previous trading session on Thursday.     

Friday’s sales totaled $4.55 million at the stock exchange, and all transactions were conducted with the same exchange rate.

The American currency is bought and sold primarily at the AMD 405-407/$1 range, correspondingly, in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market.
