YEREVAN.- Armenia’s Nasdaq OMX stock exchange will provide Armenian companies with an opportunity to distribute corporate news, including press releases, via Globe Newswire.

The service will be also provided to the companies listed on the stock market, Nasdaq OMX General Manager Konstantin Saroyan told reporters on Monday.

The circle of readers will become wider as it will be directly exposed to Europe and the U.S.

“Market analysts and potential investors, who are following the situation in Armenia and the CIS, will get information on corporate bonds. If the conditions are favorable, it will immediately attract their attention,” Saroyan said.

Through GlobeNesiwire the releases will enter newswires of leading agencies. If requested by a company, press releases can be translated into other languages ​​(up to 10) and sent both to general consumers and specifically selected ones.

At the moment the stock exchange is trading bonds of 15 Armenian companies.
