YEREVAN. – Opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) has all the opportunities to nominate own candidate for the next presidential elections, ANC group MP, Armenia’s former PM Hrant Bagratyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to him, first of all that candidate should be ANC leader, Armenia’s First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan. As for Prosperous Armenia Party-ANC cooperation and possible nomination of a joint candidate, Bagratyan said he prefers not to speak about uncertain things.

Another ANC participant-party head Armenak Dovlatyan said that no question on the ANC participation in next presidential elections was discussed, hence, he had no comments at the moment. However, Ter-Petrosyan is the most preferable candidate. As for PAP-ANC cooperation he restrained himself from comments adding versions need to be discussed first.
