The EU official conveyed the greetings of Vice-President of the European Commission, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton to the Azerbaijani leader.
The sides exchanged views on prospects for Azerbaijan-EU cooperation and the Karabakh peace process.
