YEREVAN.- President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow will pay an official visit to Armenia on Thursday at the invitation of President Serzh Sargsyan.

During his trip, Berdimuhamedow plans to hold meetings with Armenian President, Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan and Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. The sides will sign documents to develop and expand relations between the states, presidential press service said.

Turkmenistan’s President will also visit the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to meet with Catholicos Karekin II.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow will also meet with Yerevan State University students and visit Matenadran, the Armenian ancient manuscript museum.
