YEREVAN.- Armenia’s principal stance on Karabakh is that the conflict must be resolved peacefully based on the international law, President Serzh Sargsyan told a briefing on Thursday.
Only such an approach rules out attempts to prioritize any of the principles and can ensure long-lasting solution to the conflict, Sargsyan said at a joint briefing with Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.
Sargsyan said during their meeting the presidents discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
“We reiterated commitment of Armenia and Turkmenistan to contribute to maintaining peace and security,” President Sargsyan stressed.
