YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan held a meeting with the delegation headed by Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow on Thursday.

The Speaker believes that Berdimuhamedow’s official visit will give a new impetus to further development and deepening of bilateral relations.

Abrahamyan also stressed importance of activating trade and economic relations, deepening of cooperation in science, education and culture.

Turkmen President conveyed an invitation of Turkmen Speaker Akja Nurberdiýewa addressed to Abrahamyan, stating Turkmenistan is interested in developing trade and economic ties as well as relations in the field of science and culture.
