YEREVAN. – Russian President Vladimir Putin is likely to visit Armenia early next year, member of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly Nikolay Ryzhkov told reporters in Yerevan on Thursday adding the date of the visit is not yet fixed.

To note, Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan was in Russia on working visit this August. During the meeting, the two presidents discussed prospects for developing bilateral relations, as well as international and regional issues.

In particular, they touched upon interaction of Russia and Armenia within CIS and CSTO, as well as security in the Caucasus.
