The sources in the presidential administration informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will participate in the CIS leaders’ summit in Ashgabat on December 5.

It is planned that the CIS leaders will exchange views on matters of mutual interest and on international issues, and will be informed about the activities of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly to strengthen integration cooperation in the organization.

The agenda of the summit, which will be chaired by the president of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, includes the development of multilateral cooperation in trade, economic and monetary areas, culture, environment and safety, as well as the theme of preparation for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (World War II).
