YEREVAN. – Armenia’s FM Edward Nalbandian attended, in Dublin, meeting of the foreign ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) states.    

Separately, during Nalbandian’s meeting with José García-Margallo y Marfil, Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, they discussed the avenues toward developing bilateral relations and expanding the legal and contractual framework, collaboration within international organizations, holding consultations between both MFAs, and Armenia-EU cooperation, Armenian MFA pres service informs.

In the Irish capital city, Armenia’s FM also met with Marta Dassù, Italy’s Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs. The interlocutors underscored the maintenance of the development dynamics of bilateral interaction. They exchanged views on bilateral agenda topics, interparliamentary cooperation, and security matters in the South Caucasus—specifically, the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.     

Also, Edward Nalbandian talked with Didier Burkhalter, Head of the Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs. They pointed to the high level of relations between both countries and highlighted the need for joint steps to further consolidate these ties. The agenda of the talks included Armenia’s efforts to ensure security in the South Caucasus.
