YEREVAN. - The deputy director of the Caucasus Institute Sergey Minasyan, in an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter, said that the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) may nominate a presidential candidate only with the approval of their leader, Armenia’s First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan.

According to the analyst, the alternative candidate from ANC could be someone from the ‘young generation’.

“It depends on the calculations and considerations, as well as the political will of Levon Ter-Petrosyan. The alternative candidate can be selected with the consent and political solution of ANC leader.” Minasyan said.
