ALEPPO. – A Syrian-Armenian Shahe Chaglasian, who was kidnapped several days ago in a Syrian city of Aleppo, was released on ransom, press secretary of Berian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Aleppo Zhirayr Reisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

To remind, Shahe Chaglasian was kidnapped at a suburb of Aleppo with his car, while the kidnappers demanded a ransom. As for the situation in Aleppo in general, sometimes blasts and shots are heard, however, the atmosphere is relatively calmer in the city, Reisyan stated. In addition, sniper threat is still present.
