YEREVAN. – A citizen of Armenia Armen Khaloyan, who intended to meet the Chief of Armenian Police, appeared in detention.

According to the materials at law enforcement agency, Khaloyan, who wanted to have a reception at the Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan last Oct. 25, argued with Gasparyan’s advisor Meruzhan Hakobyan. According to the accusatory verdict, Khaloyan rudely violated the public order, used force and hit Hakobyan. As a result, the latter received light injuries without health complications.

Khaloyan is charged in hooliganism, violence against authority representative, and illegal possession of weapons.
