GYUMRI. – The Gyumri-Yerevan road is closed due to the heavy snowstorm as of 12.00 p.m. on Monday. Traffic on some roads is interdicted, head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Shirak regional department Marat Saribekyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The Landjik part is closed due to a heavy snowstorm, the Ministry employees along with the road police employees have evacuated all the cars and passengers. Police is on duty at the moment at the site for the cars to interdict the passage,” he said

At the same time, road cleaning employees do not manage in cleaning the roads from the snow. Similar situation is repeated in almost all regions of the country.
