YEREVAN. – A major accident occurred in Yerevan as of eight cars crashed on Wednesday, police press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. At about 9.00 p.m. VAZ-21099, Chevrolet Niva, BMW, Mazda, VAZ-21099, Renault and two VAZ-2107 cars crashed into each other on Karapet Ulnetsi Street, while two passengers of one of the VAZ-2107 got injured.

During another accident VAZ-2107 went off traffic and crashed with a wall at 3.00 a.m. on Wednesday. As a result, the driver died at the site. In another accident on the same day at 10.00 p.m. Hyundai and Nissan vehicles crashed in Yerevan, while the Nissan driver got injured and hospitalized.

Another accident occurred at 1.30 p.m. on Margara-Etchmiadzin road as Nissan went off traffic and crashed into a tree. As a result, the driver and the two passengers got injured and hospitalized. An investigation is underway in all the cases.
