YEREVAN.- Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is confident the elections will be  held on high level.

In an interview with RFE/RL Armenian service, President Sargsyan said holding god elections is in the interests of Armenia and then interests of our partners.

“We are holding election for ourselves but we are acting in international arena and it would be better and even necessary if the members of world community perceived us as one of their group,” he said.

He believes the May 6 parliamentary election received more positive assessments than negative ones.
