Presidential candidate and incumbent President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, on January 24, laid flowers on the grave of the great Armenian poet Paruyr Sevak, who would have turned 89 years old today. The director of the museum after P. Sevak, Avetik Grigoryan informed Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.

The incumbent president was greeted in the house museum, which is in Zangakatun village, by the late poet’s son, Armen Ghazaryan with his family. The incumbent president also listened to the current issues of the museum.

According to the director of the museum, the plan of the museum construction designed a whole museum complex to be built, but the construction was halted.

“Serzh Sargsyan is the first president, who has visited the house-museum of Paruyr Sevak,” he noted.

Note that next year will be the 90th anniversary of the great poet Paruyr Sevak.
