YEREVAN. – The first week of the election campaign in Armenia for the head of the opposition Freedom party, former PM and a presidential nominee Hrant Bagratyan was quite productive, his secretary Karine Harutyunyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Bagratyan started his campaign from the Upper Artashat village, afterwards he visited Armenia’s Tavush Region, as well as some border-close villages.
The presidential nominee also held some meetings, discussed organizational issues connected with his election campaign and works of headquarters. Next week he will continue his tours throughout Armenia.
In addition, several opposition parties participating in the opposition Armenian National Congress expressed their support for Bagratyan.
