YEREVAN. - Near the building in Yerevan on 8 Kocharyan Street, the elevator of half constructed, unfinished private house broke. There was a person inside, who has been injured. The help of rescuers was necessary.

The Ministry of Emergency situations received the emergency call this Monday, at 2:32 p.m. As Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a rescue team had been sent to the scene. It turned out that 24-year-old A. Nikolyan, as a result of elevator’s cable braking, had fallen into the gulch near the house.

The rescuers carried out the victim from the gulch on a stretcher. The victim was taken to St. Grigor Lusavorich hospital.
