YEREVAN. – The election campaign in Armenia is going on at the moment, MP David Harutyunyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to him, when the presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan turns to the Constitution Court asking to prolong the elections for 15 days and if the Court considers the obstacle insurmountable, the election will be prolonged for 15 days.

To note, the Constitution claims that the presidential elections will be prolonged in case of emergence of an insurmountable obstacle for one of the presidential nominees.

Paruyr Hayrikyan had declared that he will turn to the Court asking to prolong the elections for 15 days.

To note, the presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan was injured by shoulder at the entrance of his house on Thursday.
