YEREVAN. – An alarm was received at 7.12 p.m. on Saturday that a citizen is about to commit a suicide by jumping into the underground at the Garegin Nzhdeh Square and a help was required.

A rescue operative squad with paramedics of crisis management center along with ambulance service arrived at the site, press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia informs.

A suicide attempt of A. Sargsyan, who was born in 1987, was prevented by the rescuers and the police employees, the press service informs.
