YEREVAN. – To the query as to whether it is possible to form a ruling coalition with the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) again, PM Tigran Sargsyan had responded that if PAP makes a decision that it wishes to return to the coalition, the ruling Republican Party will discuss that mater; but there is no such decision as of yet, Zhamanak daily reports.

“Zhamanak asked PAP Spokesperson Tigran Urikhanyan as to whether PAP is preparing to petition to form a coalition.

‘The term ‘coalition’ sounds a bit strange for me, and therefore I will not use that word,’ the spokesperson stated, and added: ‘As for joint governance, we have always said—[and] we say it now, as well: We always stand ready to assume responsibility in the system of governance and perform that job which our voter has commanded us. But on several conditions: if there are no preconditions that do not limit our own political course, or are unacceptable,’” Zhamanak quotes.
