YEREVAN. – The results of the election campaign show that Armenia’s presidential candidate, opposition Heritage Party Chairman, former FM Raffi Hovannisian will win the presidential election—to be conducted on February 18—and, moreover, in the first round. The candidate’s campaign headquarters press secretary Hovsep Khurshudyan stated this during a press conference on Wednesday.

Also, he gave a high assessment to the campaign of Hovannisian and to its results because, as per Khurshudyan, these led to a change in the country’s political climate.

“This means Raffi Hovannisian is confidently setting out to a win,” he noted.

At the same time, however, Hovsep Khurshudyan called upon the media and the residents to be more alert these days because, in his words, the bribes are distributed on the last days of election campaigns.

“They [that is, the authorities] already have finalized the lists; now, they will start distributing [the bribes],” he maintained.
