Own shortcomings cannot be justified by bad neighbors. The ruling Republican Party presidential candidate, incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan stated this Thursday during his talk with the voters at Aparan city.

“I am not ashamed to ask for the trust of my own people. I have not dodged my share of the responsibility. Everything I have done was right before your eyes, and you are free to make your [own]choice.    

When people see a prospect, they are ready for any deprivation. We are not one of those who easily surrender. Our fathers and forefathers had the dream of a free Armenia; this was what inspired them in the fight against the enemy, and today we continue their work.      

Our problems are not just inside. [But] those who always complain about the neighbors do not wish to correct their own mistakes. First and foremost, we need to address our [own] shortcomings to respect ourselves,” Serzh Sargsyan stated in particular.
