YEREVAN.- Armavia air company is not commenting on press reports indicating that VTB bank sued the national carrier and Mika Limited for $22 million.  

Spokesperson for air company Nana Avetisova refused to comment on the reports, telling Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent that the articles contain “distorted facts.”

As reported by Izvestiya newspaper, Russian bank has fined a lawsuit against Armavia and Mika Limited belonging to Armenian businessman Mikhail Baghdasarov.

The bank is trying to return money provided for refinancing the Armavia loans taken for buying Sukhoi Superjet-100. Lawyers believe VTB has good chances to win the case.
