ALEPPO. – An Armenian was wounded as a result of sniper shot that was fired Sunday in Aleppo, Syria, Press secretary Jirair Reisian of the National Primacy of Aleppo of the Armenian Apostolic Church told Armenian News-NEWS.am.         

In his words, the Armenian, who was shot in the hand, was transferred to hospital, where he was operated on. But the name and age of the injured Armenian is not announced.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, another Armenian, Harutyun Keoshkerian had died as a result of a bullet that hit his head, on Thursday, at Aleppo’s Sulaymaniyah Boulevard. Keoshkerian was born in 1970.
