YEREVAN. – The observers from Armenia’s Helsinki Committee recorded a number of election violations in capital city Yerevan’s Ajapnyak community, as of Monday at 12:30pm.
At Precinct No. 6/16, the ruling Republican Party (RPA) proxy and the latter’s friends left from and returned to the precinct without any restrictions, Media Center informs. Also, the room of the police passes through the voting room, and the officer on duty is in the voting room frequently.
At Precinct No. 6/17, the number of voters in the voting room exceeded fifteen on several occasions.
At Precinct No. 6/34, its electoral commission secretary is replacing a commission member for already several hours.
At Precinct No. 6/23, RPA candidate, incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan’s proxy is not wearing a badge; this is also the case with the RPA proxy at Precinct No. 6/35.
At Precinct No. 6/23, a person presented himself as an observer, but when he was asked which organization he represented, he left the precinct. Also, cases of an unfamiliar person directing the voters are recorded at the same precinct.
