YEREVAN. - In 2012, 100,000 households received family benefits in Armenia, while in 2011 the figure was only 84,000, the National Statistical Service of Armenia informs.
Note that in 2012 the number of people receiving one-time financial assistance reduced from 12,300 to 10,500. In 2012, the number of family members, who received family benefits, amounted to 412,000, compared with 363,000 in 2011.
Note that the Armenian state budget allocates 37.1 billion AMD to allowances. The base amount is 16,000 AMD ($ 40).
