YEREVAN. - Armenian presidential candidate Vardan Sedrakyan has bought a present, the cost of which equals to a Range Rover, for his son, who celebrated his birthday on the day of the elections this Monday, Vardan Sedrakyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
To the question whether he celebrated his son’s birthday, he replied positively.
“Of course I did, how could I not? Do you think the elections are more important that the birthday of my child? We celebrated at home with close friends. The guests came, congratulated him and left. Taking into account my health, they made sure not to stay long,” Sedrakyan said.
To the question what he bought as a present for this son, he refused to answer.
“I will not tell you that. The Range Rover talk became a global issue, now I will not tell you this,” he added.
To the question, whether the cost of the present was close to a Range Rover vehicle cost, he also answered positively.
“Certainly it is, he is my eldest son, my first child, how could it not be?” the politician concluded.
