YEREVAN.- Central Electoral Commission continues issuing preliminary results of the  presidential elections. As of 00:30, data from 99 precincts have been collected.  

Serzh Sargsyan got 65.37 percent of votes (35,136 votes), followed by Raffi Hovannisian – 30.20 percent (16,232votes) of votes. Hrant Bagratyan advanced to the third position with 1.91 percent (1,024). Paruyr Hayrikyan polled 1.01% (544).

Vardan Sedrakyan (0.83%), Andreas Ghukasyan (0.49%) and Arman Melikyan (0.20%) got less than one percent of votes.

Note that on Monday the Presidential Elections were held in Armenia. Seven candidates were running for the presidency: the incumbent President and leader of ruling Republican Party Serzh Sargsyan, the leader of Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian, former Armenian Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan, head of the Association National Self-Determination Paruyr Hayrikyan, political scientist Andreas Ghukasyan, former Karabakh Foreign Minister Arman Melikyan and epos specialist Vardan Sedrakyan.
