YEREVAN. – Armenia’s presidential contender, non-party affiliate and epic poetry specialist, Vardan Sedrakyan underwent a regular medical checkup Tuesday, in a capital city Yerevan hospital, but the physicians required of him that he continue his treatment as an inpatient, Sedrakyan himself told Armenian News-NEWS.am. He added that he will go to the hospital Wednesday and remain there over the course of his treatment.  

Speaking about the causes of his treatment, he informed that he had caught an acute cold and, as a result, there was an inflammation in his liver.   

“The doctors insist that I undergo treatment sessions as an inpatient. I hope everything will be all right while receiving normal treatment,” the presidential candidate said.
