YEREVAN. – Following Monday’s presidential election in Armenia, the American national currency’s exchange rate at the financial market of the country stabilized at approximately AMD 407/$1.  

But no dollar transactions were conducted at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Wednesday. Even though the asking price for the US national currency was AMD 407/$1, its exchange rate offer was AMD 407.5/$1.  

The US dollar is stable at the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, as well, and it is traded at the AMD 406-407.5/$1 range.
