YEREVAN. – The American national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 408.96/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Friday; this is a 0.48-percent—or an AMD 1.96—sharp rise following a nearly one week stability in the exchange rate of the dollar.  

Friday’s sales totaled $1.4 million at the stock exchange.

At the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, the buying exchange rate of the US dollar rose all the way to AMD 408/$1, at some exchange offices, and it is sold at AMD 411/$1.
