YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition Free Democrats Party salutes the civic consciousness of the Armenian people and their willpower on the road to achieving justice and liberty. The party issued a statement with such content.

“The Armenian presidential election, which was conducted on [Monday,] February 18, 2013, was a unique referendum for the current authorities, but the halls of power failed even in these conditions, and the people said ‘no’ yet again to the policy they conduct.

We are confident that wisdom, and the political road we all have jointly passed, will enable to recapitulate the people’s triumphant march toward the establishment of a free and competitive state.

We attest to our devotion and unswerving struggle for establishing liberty, justice and democracy in our country,” the Free Democrats Party statement reads in particular.
